but of course - I can only relate anecdotal evidence. I can't speak for the entire population.

Both the Costco lady and the Hearing specialist told me, in the coming days, to watch people speaking. Those I don't hear well won't move their lips much. So it's only been a couple of days, and I don't have much to go on... but I have been paying attention and it's holding true. Young people do not move their lips very much.... but unlike what you suppose about 'older' people I'm finding that older people do.

By the way... it's a bit embarrassing doing this.... people have to be wondering about my more focused attention on them. laughing smiley

No conclusion yet but what they told me seems to be holding true. - JamesJM
