thanks so much... My biggest concern is that the first surgeon in Dallas might have blacklisted me in my records.. That would explain the last surgeon blowoff, although that surgeon has reviews that sound similar to my experience.. All I did was ask my first surgeon in Dallas for a copy of the MRI they MADE me shoot - even tho I brought one with me.. When I asked for it, they dropped me as a patient and the office manager got extremely hateful toward me and my wife.. I did send a certified, signed, official request for it, so they HAD to eventually send it to me due to HIPAA laws..
So, the first time they sent it they admit sending it to the wrong address in Tennessee.. I live in Texas.. they had the wrong street number and street, as well.. Office manage told me that was the exact info I wrote on my new patient paperwork.. Which is absurd.. Completely absurd.. I requested a copy of that paperwork - they have never sent it.. The second time they say they sent my MRI they forgot to put postage on it and it was returned to them a week later.. Really? The first copy, sent to the wrong address (I have the address) never turned up..
I finally got the MRI and opened it up on computer.. its so blurry you cannot use it at all.. it should have been reshot.. but wasn't.. In fact, after shooting it, the surgeon came into the exam room and told me definitively what I needed done (C3/C4 and C4/C5 disc replacement or fusion, bone spurs, and a cyst removed), because the new MRI was much higher resolution.. But, the MRI was jacked up beyond all hope, which is probably why they didn't want me to have it and why they dropped me.. With the MRI they sent a signed diagnosis and surgical treatment plan from the surgeon stating what needed to be done, so I have it on paper what he diagnosed and recommended.... but the office manage was SO hateful toward us I'm afraid I have a blacklist code in my records.. I intentionally remain extremely courteous and respectful toward her during all our communication, specifically in order to not get blacklisted.. But, I don't know if that mattered or what to do.. If that's the case and I AM blacklisted, I'll never be able to get surgery... So, quite concerned right now and can only hope for the best..
