I woke up like 34 years ago and something didn't feel right in my neck.. it got worse and worse and worse and has pretty much screwed my life up ever since.. Finally was able to get it documented correctly this year and need a two disc replacement or fusion - C3 and C4.. Now, I do have cubital tunnel in both elbows and carpal tunnel in both hands, even tho I had carpal tunnel surgery in February this year - with no real benefit so far..
Steve my wife had issues with C4 and C5 and then L region, bulging and ulcerated. She lasted it out and the doctor said they basically fused together.
It was a horrible time in her life....well other than being marries to me. Constant pain and it affected everything she did. I can imagine and I understand the issues you are dealing with and I hope these Docs can fix you up super quick and lickity split.
Without all that pain and discomfort I can imagine how much more enjoyable it will be for you to dive.
