Ever watch those 'true crime' youtube videos? I had seen very few, until recently. Friend of mine is VERY into those and told me I should watch them because they are so 'educational and interesting'. His words. Well, I think he was right BUT... it's just not my thing. I HAD seen some of the most infamous cases on Youtube... like the Zodiac Killer, Ted Bundy but that's about it. I admit that I enjoyed the "how they found the killers" aspect of the videos BUT - - I have two problems with those videos.
First - MY WORD but there are some evil people in this world. I can't handle any more in depth descriptions of their crimes (always murder).
And secondly... I guess I am the most vindictive person on earth because the punishment is almost NEVER adequate IMO. Saw a couple in which the murderer got off free... or received NO prison time receiving parole instead. I didn't get 'educational or interesting' from watching them... I got frustrated and infuriated.
I did learn something, however. There is no such thing as an 'unreasonable doubt'..... if it's a doubt it's reasonable. That surprised me. - JamesJM
