It has really gone down hill. Our Blooming Onion was good as was the shrimp with my steak. But, IMO, the whole vibe of that place has crashed n burned, My steak was not the worst but far from the best I have ever had. The inside seemed simply dated and could use a remodel.
Also.....And this goes for a LOT of Restaurant Service these days. I watched the Servers and not ONE of them said a word to another. Our Waitress was good but not great. But with each other, they all just walked around looking unhappy. Back when my Brother worked at Bennigans in the 80s and early 90s, I would go hang out at the Bar till my Brother got off duty. It was entertainment to watch the Staff there. Everyone was always making wise cracks to each other and they looked like they were having fun. I told my Wife it HAS to be today's NOTHING but Text Society. I think people really have trouble with social skills these days. Tonight, it felt like we were eating in a doom n gloom environment.
