The very last episode was NOT meant to be the last. I bet NBC just dropped it. We just ordered, on Amazon, the three Little House TV movies that followed. In one of the DVD extras, Dean Butler who played Almonzo Wilder, said he considered the three movies to be the 10th / final season. My Wife and I started watching back in June. I was not sure if I'd get into it but I found myself really getting attached to several of the characters. It's sad to know that so many have passed away.
