It's on Apple tv online. (Took me a while to actually register to see it.)
It's a very taut action story without very little in the way of breaks in the action. I liked it.
I thought Tom Hanks was superb though really, he's the only character. Everyone else plays a role on the ship and they have distinct personalities but Hanks is honestly the only developed character. He is in virtually every scene. The film is about him.
The action was great. Only once or twice did I go "nah that couldn't have happened like that."
Very well filmed I thought. The cold bleak Atlantic and danger everywhere. I will say this though--the trailer deliberately jumbles things up so it's a bit misleading though not in any serious way.
