Lots of sports happening in St Louis tonight.
NHL- The Winnipeg Jets are playing the St Louis Blues at 7:00 pm. The Jets lead the Blues in this Playoff series 3-2. The Blues do well at home so we have a chance to make it 3-3. But then game 7 is back in Winnipeg and we've lost both games there already. Moving on to the next round towards the Stanley Cup seems iffy. But THIS is the biggest game of the night in these parts.
UFL- The Arlington Renegades at St Louis Battlehawks are also playing at 7:00 pm. The Battlehawks are in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in the league so a win tonight is crucial if we're going to have a chance at the UFL playoffs as well. The Battlehawks have been fun to watch but I'm not hopeful tonight. They usually have 30,000+ fans in attendance but with other sports going on at the same time, they'll be lucky to have half that.
MLB - The New York Mets at St Louis Cardinals at 7:15 pm. So far this season, the baseball team is sucking eggs with a 14-18 record, so they're not even on my "must watch" list tonight.
The crazy thing is... all 3 games are happening at the same time so it'll be interesting to see how many people actually show up in person. Between all three events, downtown St. Louis will be rocking tonight!
