Turns out, after the City's approval, a BUYER scoops them up. They are no longer affordable and the Retail spots on the first floors remain vacant. There's one complex that has been around for FIVE years and the Retail spaces are still empty. The Rent to these places are not even close to be affordable.
Developers have REALLY screwed up our water front property with BUSINESS construction. Jacksonville looks beautiful by the St Johns River but there is not a damn thing to do there or anywhere to eat or hang out. The idiots of C.O.J. are currently constructing a park on the river, where The Jacksonville Landing used to be. They know damn good n well it will be nothing but a Bum n Freak hang out.
