I might cheat a little...

August 22, 2024 08:05AM
Roy Clark - 12th St Rag

Gary Moore - Still got the Blues (totally cheating but I enjoyed his moved to more blues type stuff than some of his early play).

Natalie Merchant - Carnival (saw her live once, didn't know who the guitarist was but I still remember this song).

And one more cheat...

Mark Knopfler - So far from the Clyde

I'm a fan of a guitarist that "meanders" through a song. So a couple probably wouldn't classify as a solo.

I'm an R&B, early hip hop guy. I decided to avoid the easy metal famous solos and pick some things I've seen or heard that stuck with me.

These are typically my jams.
