I don't really remember but....

I don't think we were ever paid dollar one for being an opening act. But I'm going back many many years. Back then they considered the exposure payment.

We did get free food backstage sometime. We opened for Paul Revere and the Raiders a couple of times and they, (or perhaps the promoter), had tubs of iced beer backstage... we thought we had hit the big time.
