The last living member of the Allman Brothers is their drummer. IMO they were the major start of what is now Southern Rock. Never saw the Allman Brothers but I did see Gregg In Greensboro several years back. They sure ran the gambit from boogie to ballad.......One of IMO Americas best Bands.
