"as needed for pain". She had her first physical therapy session yesterday. Took one before.... one 4 hours later and then one that night. It worked well. Didn't post about it but here's why we want her to limit them to 'as needed' and control it - -
She gets loopy, as said, and forgets if she's taken one. They kill her appetite. A few days ago she wanted to go to our grandson's basketball game. She wasn't ready for that so soon after surgery but there was no stopping her. She took two on an empty stomach - got to the game and vomited then passed out (briefly). As soon as we explained to the doctor that she had taken two on an empty stomach he told us that was precisely why she vomited then fainted.
