When I wanna sorta dress up now I wear Vibram Furishiki Japanese wrap shoes.. they have an 1/8" soul, at most, and the straps criss cross your feet and velcro to the sides.. super comfortable, but very little support and you wouldn't wanna wear them running or even walking on gravel..
But, I'm the only person I've ever seen who wears them and EVERYONE comments on them when I do wear them - cuz they are really cool looking.. they really are not much more supportive than a pair of thick socks, but sometimes it's all about the look and the comfort.,
