Strange New Worlds biggest risk

is the character La'an Noonien-Singh , who is the chief security officer in Strange New Worlds

is a distant relative to Khan Noonien Singh

so..............

that means , during Strange New Worlds , Kahn is still in deep sleep aboard the Botany Bay , it would still be a few years before Kirk and crew discover them , as Kahn and his crew left for space in the 1990's and would be revived until 2267

so.......................

in 2259 , when Strange New Worlds takes place , La'an Noonien-Singh would have been at least 10 generations removed for Khan , even though he's still floating around in space out there at this time

but..................

the question , and mystery is , when Kirk discovers Kahn , how is it he doesn't know who he is , as Kirk new La'an Noonien-Singh pretty well ,

and............

during the episode Space Seed , when Kahn is going through the Enterprise ships records , does he not see or mention La'an Noonien-Singh name , as she was the ships chief security officer just a few years prior

anyways , I don't think the shows writers would have introduced such a character if they didn't have plans for her , or a way of explaining it , as they done a pretty good connecting the two shows without break canon so far
