I was living in Europe and a group of friends made a "business" trip out of it and expensed most the trip. I miss those days.
As for the race, it was okay, I've always been more of a NASCAR guy. But it was a great experience. I remember Michael Schumacher won, if I rememeber correctly I was informed he won just about everything that year. At least that's what I was told. The history nerd in me got a kick outta guys that could tell you without a blink of an eye the top ten finishers from races a couple decades prior.
