Can't stop myself from bragging....

We had never seen this plaque, until today. Last year my grandson, Ashton, won the first ever San Joaquin Valley athlete of the year award.

It is given out by the Officials Association..... one male winner, one female. It includes all High School Sports. He got a very nice check to go with it as well. It's not 'just' athleticism... also considered are sportsmanship, community service, etc.

We don't know where this plaque is on display... we got this photo because last night this year's winner was announced.... a basketball player from a somewhat nearby High School and they had the Plaque there for the presentation... so one of the officials sent a photo, in text, to my daughter...
