Not sure how old you are Scott but my background with "Da Bears" goes way back to the 50s when the Bears had the most hated and so called dirtiest player around was Ed Sprinkle-a defensive end who would eat up anyone on the other side of the LOS.
I love Chicago, Navy Pier, Michigan Ave. etc. Had some wonderful times downtown.
Coldest day in my life was above 3rd base in Wrigley with the wind blowing in from the lake behind right field in April. I root for the Cubs because they owned my L.A. Angels a minor league team in the Pacific Coast League. Indeed in South Central L.A. the Angels played at Wrigley Field a smaller version of the Chicago Wrigley including ivy on the outfield walls, etc.
