Kid Christmasses were the best

Cuz ALLyou cared about was what was under the tree.. and if you were young enough, you thought Santa brought it all to you, which was purely magical.. I remember walking into the dining room, where the tree was, and seeing all the stuff under the tree, feeling pure oy and excitement.. it's not like that anymore as an adult..

I didn't even decorate this year.. no tree, nothing.. no traditions were enacted last night, or will be today.... I didn't look at Christmas lights in the town, or do anything Christmassy at all.. it's as if Christmas didn't exist this year.. very weird..
