And fire a laser. There was also a wagon you could get with it but I never had that. If you measured a house, it could be programmed to go anywhere and return back. Each number on keyboard represented a foot. Surprisingly, I never tested just how far it could go. I just remember it being loud and going through about six D Batteries rather quickly. But for it's day, it was very cool. I STILL have mine up in the attic. But it does not work.
