Same thing happened to us in '71

except in the state finals at Texas Stadium in Dallas.. We easily get the first down, game should be over.. they mark him short.. the opposing quarterback heaves a 50 yard hail mary that they catch to win the game.. that quarterback was Tommy Kramer who went on to play for the Vikings for many years.. but, we got the first down.. it should have been game over: 7th State Championship to the Coyotes..
