But not busted.. but oh how they tried...

I had heard you could bypass certain parts of security with you government CAC card.. so I took mine with me, not knowing you had to register your government number off it when you booked the flight.. I flashed my CAC card to the Xray guys and they went and talk to some authoritarian chick who came and got me , took my bag, and said "we're going through all your things".. and I watched them pull every single item out of my carry on bag and test for bomb residue and other ridiculous stuff..

I was patted down several times, but never made to bend over.. They started putting stuff in my bag and the head honcho comes over and says, "your camera has bomb residue on it.. but we're going to let you go, anyway"..

WTF? Ok, how did "bomb residue" get on my camera and if it DID have bomb residue, why were they letting me go anyway?

So, by next trip I had my government number registered.. Its like having TSA Precheck on a permanent basis..
