Australian Terrier, Dingo..AKA Dink, lived a great 16 years, went through cataract surgery as well as being diabetic (had to give him daily shots...taught him many things like wearing sun glasses and kicking them to the top of his head when going inside. Waited a good 10 years before dipping into the pool again with a Scottie, a rescue from DC.....beautiful dog that 1 a show ribbon, 7 years later cancer hit and bam went fast..so much life shoulda been left on that bone.....no dog since then 6 years running.
Tears flowed for both and not sure I got the tears to try it again.....That said we had some special friends that we could call all ours...nobody else's....
Sorry for ya friend, it's a bit^&....but you know that that relationship can't be matched....It's a selfish kinda relationship...the dog and you/family.....
