I sat in the Vet parking lot before I could get the nerve to even grab the Cat Carrier and go inside. I was SOOOO glad that once inside, they wasted NO time and got the deed done. I tell ya.....One of THE hardest things I have ever had to do. Yes....When we come to that point, it's THE right thing to do but it NEVER makes it easier. We had our two cats that got attacked and killed by another animal almost exactly three years ago, That was sudden and brutally painful but deep down...selfishly, I recall thinking at least I did not have to make the choice. We got two more cats that stay inside. They are AWESOME and still a band aid from 3 years ago. I wish time would slow down. Seems like we JUST got them. I'm a grouchy SOB, too often. I have seen a lot and been through a lot as a Firefighter and simply with my family and life. But I am almost TOO soft and fragile when it comes to animals. SO very sorry for your loss. I know it hurts.
