I'm not sure how I missed it. I actually DO remember the title.... so I knew "OF" the movie... I do NOT think I knew it was about boxing because had I known that I would have watched it.

I also knew that Braddock was called the Cinderella Man but never made the connection... so yeah, I was a dunce.

Obviously the movie won't be for everyone... but I think it has a good chance. Braddock's relationship with his wife is as much a part of the story as the boxing... but not in the traditional Hollywood manner.

I have 'demanded' my grandson's watch it. So I'm anxious to hear their opinions.... but, that could be a long time coming. They aren't exactly keen on watching Papa's suggestions. This is 'sports', however, so maybe they'll make the effort. - JamesJM
