Why didn't any of you tell me about this movie?
So ok... I admit it, I'm a sucker for a good movie about boxing... and like nearly all of them... but "CINDERELLA MAN" stands apart from nearly all the others. I won't call it the best boxing movie of all time BUT.... it's in the running. And actually I just may call it the best ever.
and NONE of you ever mentioned this movie to me? What the HELL were you thinking? That's gotta be the biggest collective brain fart in history!
Funny thing... I was once an avid boxing fan, (getting back into it at the time actually).... and read about boxing a lot.... I knew about all the greats... so you bet.... I knew all about James J Braddock... didn't make the movie pale on iota.... just an incredible movie... a Ron Howard movie... that guy makes VERY good movies. - JamesJM
