As WELL known, Florida is under the spotlight for a lot of STUPID arguments. BOTH sides of the fence. People want a narrative when what is needed is.......BAAAAASICS!!!! Kids are still coming out of school with ZERO knowledge of buying a car or house....Budgets......How to use a ruler.....Basic Geography knowledge. Schools need HANDS ON Shop and even Home Ec Classes. Instead, they get USELESS crud!! Here in Florida, there are more concerns about School Grades than PRACTICAL Student success.
Even when I was in High School, it used to irk the hell outta me that The Literary Concepts Of Chaucer were being crammed at us...WHOOOO CARES???????
IMO.....Schools are damned near useless after a 7th Grade Education.
