Boat dealers have been closing up shop around here since the drought began.... so the boat dealer I used to work with is no more. Hence:
I'm calling around today, (6 different boat dealers), to schedule an appointment. You would have sworn I started each phone call by calling their mother's fat and ugly. I'll just relate one conversation:
Me: "Do you know the approximate turn-around time for a service, no repair need?"
Grouchy Guy #1, "I'll get around to it when I can. If you need it faster than that you should have called someone else and not wasted my time".
Grouchy Guy's #2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 equally as grouchy and rude. Maybe it's mandatory prostate examination day for Boat Dealers? I don't know; I can't explain it.
