Mr Roy showed me and my boys this photo. What many do not know is at the bottom of the round pole looking object (The crane that's aft of the island) what looks like simple debris, is actually remains of the guys in that AA gun tub. He showed me a photo (Not released to the public) of the inside of that tub. Both seat on each side of the gun had the lower half remains of the gunners. The Loaders were gone. Possibly who was at the base of the crane. This was a result of the bomb from the Val that Roy videoed. Roy was standing at the front third of the island. The bomb skipped off the rear of the island, striking the edge of the deck, just a few feet from that gun tub. The smoke from it all is seen in the photo of the deck...first photo I posted.
