Yeah, probably..

I own one.. it plugs into the wall for power.. only issue is if you're nailing into a VERY hard wood species, sometimes the brads don't get buried, so you'd hafta tap them in VERY carefully so as not to bend them..

Bowing up.. Hmm.. You're in a pretty humid area? That could be caused by humidity and the nails not being applied in the proper spaces.. You might look that up: nailing trim in humid areas to keep from bowing.. OR maybe the wood your using needs to be sealed to protect against humidity?

I have a pretty large compressor tank, so when you got one of those, you wanna buy EVERY tool you can to run off it.. First thing I got was a nail gun.. Not a gun cable ot driving in stud nails - the 4"-5" railroad spikes they keep foundations studs to getether with, but it does bury 2 1/2" inch nails.. its my favorite tool cuz you can hold it like a phaser and unleash way more hell than just "stun power" from it.. lol

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
