My only word of advise..

Might be instead of hand nailing those planks over the screen, you might use a brad nail gun.. it shoots 1/2" brads (short skinny nails) for stuff like that.. I have one - don't like it NEAR as much as my full blown nail gun, but it does come in handy.. Here's wha tI'm referring to..
