Just a VERY average D.I. Y. guy but I'm gonna rescreen our back porch.

The OLD SCHOOL way....Regular staple gun and hand nailing the 1 1/2 X8' over the seams. I almost hate taking down the old screen. Most of the damage is from our cat "Colonel" who used it as a ladder to the roof. Sitting on the back porch and seeing the claw damage always makes me smile. I know...I'm weird.
