Frankly.... on TV it doesn't even look real it's so perfect.
10 years ago, or so, on my motorcycle going around the USA I was just a few miles from the course with every intention of checking it out. I didn't make it.
They wouldn't allow me to go thru because of a hurricane that was about hit. Turned me around on the Freeway.
I got turned around just before Augusta so I headed back to Calif and thought I'd go to New Orleans on the way.... couldn't. Another Hurricane.... they wouldn't let me thru. So I stayed inland and headed toward Texas thinking I'd go to the coast because I've never seen the Gulf of Mexico.... headed towards Houston, or Galveston. Didn't make it. They turned me around... yet another hurricane.
3 flipping hurricanes, separate ones, and I never saw the Gulf of Mexico. Or Augusta. I did get a White Castle burger, however, so all was not lost.
