if its the capacitor is to turn on the inside unit, go outside, take a stick, and give the fan a dadgum good shove to get it spinning.. cuz the capacitor's only job is the actually kickstart the fan from a dead stop.. Once the fan is spinning, it takes very little power to keep it spinning.. but it needs the extra juice from the capacitor to it it moving.. So, I will try that first thing and if it works, then I know, for sure, its the capacitor..
Hopefully I don't get the stick stuck in the fan and everything gets completely chewed up..
