Is it because "in the day" only REALLY good producers could get funding to make movies and only BIG name movie studios had the ability, so EVERYTHING had to be done - at least - decently.. Nowadays, anyone with a gopro can make a movie and those people can only afford beginning crap actors and REALLY lousy script writers.. ..and studios are trying to cut costs/maximize profits by allowing crap producers to make movies - or their timelines are SO short they're forced to release before they're ready?
