So it was about 2007 or so.
Was walking home, up my road after walking my dog.
Right after dark.
My neighbor Miss Midred who was 89 or so
was standing at the end of her driveway, under the streetlight,
holding a "parasol " (not a cloud in the sky) and a flashlight which was on.
So I stopped to ask is there anything I can help you with?
She replied "nope I'm waiting on Sputnik".
Mildred had just lost her husband and was in the beginning stages of dementia.
I am friends with her family and agreed to keep an eye out.
So I'm thinking man I need to call someone.
Just at that moment she said "Sputnik there it is"
I turned and looked up,
as the space station with the shuttle attached goes over.
All good here....lol
