Wasn't a musical performance but the last time I saw Sam Kinnison (a couple years before he died) he was so wasted on stage all he could do was slur his act which he ended about half way through.
So ironic a sober Sam was killed by a drunk driver.
Well the accident wasn't his fault but as I recall the autopsy found cocaine among other things in his system.
