Eddie Money.. I had seen him 3 times on the first two LP tours and he was great.. Got to hang with him backstage.. super cool guy, great show...

But then he played the Air Force Base here and was TOTALLY wasted.. this was during a period in his life where he was a mega alcoholic.. He couldn't sing, couldn't remember the words, tried to play harmonica and totally screwed it up.. it was painful and I hated to see it..

He did get it together again, tho.. But that performance was horrible and really sad..

Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
