I don't buy his line that he's been thinking about this for years....why sign an extension if that is the case?

This almost sounds a bit like the Brady situation where he seemed to be pressured by the wife to retire before he is actually ready by his words in his last press conference.

Not saying that is what's going on, but wouldn't be shocked if it had something to do with it.


the writer does make a point though, as this will definitely tarnish his legacy if he bails on this team and this fan base after such a disastrous season
