It really doesn't matter who is not wanting to shop man or woman. The point is extending something much longer than necessary typically leads to boredom.
How about this? You go to the grocery store and looking for mustard. There are 4 different kinds. Instead of grabbing and going, you stare at the mustard for 5 minutes evaluating the situation. A 15 second task becomes 5 minutes of dead time.
That is repeated over and over on that 2 week superbowl. A lot of looking at the jars of mustard.
