On top of that it took all of those clown a$$'s....

4 of them in a huddle to make that call. It's just getting worse, it's even invading into the college game....This plan of going from what a rule book says to allowing the ability to form your own idea of those written words is really destroying the basic fabric of the game....the rules are written to be ruled with, not the interpretation of those written words....my opinion anyway.

How about the ruling of a non fumble by the chargers because a ref saw his arm going forward...problem was his arm was going forward WITHOUT a ball in it....same thing happened with Baker and his called fumble....his arm was also going forward, underhanded but still yet forward.....that was ruled a fumble, Herberts' was not....they are really destroying the game, yet they seem to be more interested in off field justice issues and finding more places to play, more tickets to sell instead of shoring up a most important area of the game...the rule book and the command of that book.....Those other things may have some place but the game needs to fix these call issues, that's the game they are ignoring.....
