I want to draft a top back, but won't be shocked if they stick with Cam who is starting to finally get some continuity with an OL that has been intact for more than one game and looking like his old self finally

I jumped off the Akers wagon about a month ago. I'm back on. Like the guy said in the video, you can tell he's not thinking so hard anymore because his body is finally fully recovered. I wanted the Rams to draft Gibbs in round 2 or maybe even Charbonnet in round 3, but now I'm think Akers affords us to wait a little longer. Maybe a Dewayne McBride in the later rounds.

Interestingly enough I read that Akers is a restricted free agent in 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if the Rams match any offer for him if he plays well next year.

I was going to post similar RR but you said it for me. Maybe they also bring in a "vet" to pair with Cam. Maybe a bigger stronger back who can catch a little too? A "vet" would bring the experience of being able to pass block effectively too just in case McVay would ever go "pass happy" on us. lol
