If Rams can pull off about 6 key positional player upgrade moves and if McVay can make necessary asst coaching improvements then I think we’re back in the thick of it.
Very doable if Rams are on target.
But if Snead/McVay don’t ‘fix’ RB, OL running game, TE, Edge, CB, S, and some underperforming asst coaches? Then Fuhgeddaboudit as a SB contender.
If you expect they will "fix" all the positions you mention you will be disappointed. It is not doable. Simpy too many players and dollars neeeded. But the good news is you dont have to fix All those postions. No team in this league is without holes. Even the dominating teams of this season like the Eagles, Chiefs, Bills, Whiners. All of them have their soft spots on the roster.
Fix the o-line and you will cure multiple other weak spots and problems. Better o-line means better running game, meaning more TOP and less exposure of your defense. Better o-line means better protection for your franchise QB meaning more points on the board, playing ahead making it easier for your D. Just a couple of examples were fixing the o-line has a positive ripple effect on many other aspeccts of the game.
IMHO the Rams will be in for a great rebound season IF they fix o-line and bring in a productive edge rusher.
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!
