Fixed: complete Post - Potential Rebuild for McVay & Snead
by BumRap
Posted: Today
I doubt there is much they can do on the fly without a lot of fortune.

Hard work & rolling up their sleeves is recommended. The shortcut are not recommended.

McVay’s system needs to be resealed and weather resistant. We were not prepared for the storms that touched down in 2022.

OL is a start. Bell-cow RB who can block and catch is a great follow-up.

We need to shed some declining or overpriced talents and we need to look very hard at the practice squad’s of teams that have built the right way at positions of need.

Upgrades at QB is critical. We have failed to demonstrate competency at that backup position and Stafford is a declining talent whose competence will be measure by the number of coaches and fans harkening back to the recent past. 2021 SB winner and projecting potential of the ‘if’

We need a back QB(s) that can be a potential starter(s) no matter how you look at it. Players like Wolford who should probably be added to our coaching staff. Players like Perkins cannot be conceived as 1 trick pony's that force you to throw away your play book and say "let's see what you can do on your own" are being wasted on this team. The time and money seems charitable since we clearly gave him no shot to be anything more than a novelty.

I like Raheem Morris and his communication style and fearless honesty. Did he do the best with what he had or did he demand more than the Rams could provide? Or do we have sufficient talent to build on and be a top 5 Defense? He remains a mixed bag clearly McVay needs to understand the answer and get more out of what we got from him.

Should Ram’s persist in being a passing team? I think we should be more physical and strive to be more balanced. Teams that can hold their own on both sides of the LOS are better than one sided offensive schemes that need a single player to be their primary focus.

Development needs to be a priority across the board.

Rams_78124December 20, 2022 12:15PM

Ram4life113December 20, 2022 02:05PM

They actually turned over a lot of the roster

Ram4life94December 21, 2022 10:44AM

You could probably say that about most of my posts lol

sstrams219December 21, 2022 11:01AM

Corbett was considered garbage when we traded for him

Ram_Ruler74December 21, 2022 02:33PM

Yeah I asked a Browns fan friend of mine about him..

sstrams77December 21, 2022 03:13PM

Now he's one of the best guards in the league. Just our luck

Ram_Ruler66December 23, 2022 01:00PM

ALL ready made Players. We NOW need development from McVay.

Ramgator120December 20, 2022 03:55PM

Goff, Donald, Gurley, Hekker, Higbee, Brockers...

Suh-weet!158December 20, 2022 06:15PM

And yet, they never had a winning season

promomasterj144December 21, 2022 09:19AM

Yes it was! Which leads me to wonder if McVay can DEVELOP young players.

Ramgator120December 20, 2022 03:24PM

Unsure if he can develop young players, but..

sstrams102December 20, 2022 03:25PM

We are about to find out.

Ramgator164December 20, 2022 03:39PM

So maybe Jeff Fisher should get a SB ring

promomasterj155December 20, 2022 03:54PM

The fact is...McVay inherited a LOT of good players. Since he has been here...

Ramgator194December 20, 2022 04:03PM

he's already earned his money nm

21Dog105December 20, 2022 04:16PM

You think the 2021 roster was even close to the 2016 roster

promomasterj256December 21, 2022 09:23AM

  He said develop young players

Ram4life77December 21, 2022 09:33AM

  It's more nuanced than that.

Ram_Ruler136December 21, 2022 09:59AM

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story

promomasterj133December 21, 2022 10:18AM

I'm not sure they like the Rams at all lol

Ram_Ruler193December 21, 2022 10:25AM

Lol I like McVay and don't want him replaced

Ram4life227December 21, 2022 10:45AM

Ramgator120December 20, 2022 03:52PM

  Rebuild where???

Atlantic Ram95December 21, 2022 03:19PM

In todays NFL a rebuild takes 2 seasons at the most

Rampage2K-76December 23, 2022 03:59PM

This year's Jags are a classic example.
