The Pack is the worst in the league against the run. Was anyone really surprised Akers had a few good runs? Still, he only ran for less than 70 yards total. His longest run of the season??? 19 yards!

I still think we can do better than Akers in this years draft or a FA. I have seen the Akers movie and didn't like the middle part where he quit on his team. Time to move on IMO.
Three things.
First, Akers averaged 5.4 yards per carry. That’s a very good number. Not his fault that McVay didn’t use him more.
Second, Rams OL is patchwork and that’s being kind. No RB is gonna look that good playing behind these guys.
Third, Akers is under contract at a very inexpensive rate for ‘23. So, what have Rams got to lose by giving Akers a shot next year?
