These teams were very good at a time when the NFL was beginning to produce an entertainment package that appealed to younger fans. Today's stadiums are filled with fans much, much younger than when I was growing up and attending the Coliseum games of the Rams and Los Angeles Dons. Most fans wore suits, white shirts and ties, and hats. They sold alcohol but for some reason I don't ever recall any fights in the Coliseum-at least not in the late 40s and 50s.
