I feel the same way you do about the OBJ situation, that he might be back here next year. Now is the question, does us keeping Baker affect the OBJ situation? That is akin to the reason why the Rams weren't gonna sign Golden Tate with Ramsey on the roster.
OBJ is the least of my Ram concerns, Dynasty. Especially with the emergence of Atwell.
I am gonna reserve judgement on Atwell. Ram's and most fans see stuff in relation to the rest of their situation. Wolford looked good in relationship to the spiraling Goff but has looked less than adequate the last two years. Remember when Nelson Spruce was a thing? Only because the Rams roster was so bereft of talent he looked viable. When the Rams had a roster, Atwell was an afterthought. What will he be when there is a full roster, what is McCutcheon really? He could be great he could be another Spruce. When the Rams were a Super Bowl winning team, OBJ was a major component, it feels like an insult to even put him in the same paragraph with Tutu. Van and AR have not shown the ability to be anything above a good #3 and #4 receiver in the Ram's system, OBJ was a #1B, which by definition is greater than the #2 he would need to be behind Kupp. If healthy and affordable he is a no brainer.
