Hate to admit it, but think you are spot on. I hope you are wrong but doubt it. Having said this, he is an obvious upgrade as QB2 over the othe QB’s on the roster

BM had a hell of a 1st for the Rams. The fact he was so fresh in was amazing, but it also meant he wasn't under huge pressure because what could people really expect of him after only being in the building 48hrs!
I was listening to the 'I am athlete' podcast and it was brought up that BM has done this before. Came of bench in rookie year to kick start a near comeback, did a similar thing 1st game in Carolina.
But it's not sustainable. He is too emotional as a QB. When it's on he's so high and will whip his team mates ip. But when it's not going so well, he'll drop down into a big low and its never his fault type.
Hell I don't know. That was an awesome ending to a game. It was great, because this year has been a bum. But I think we need to temper expectations and just be real about BM. The hype train is already setting up the next game to be underwhelming even if he plays well!!
