In the fourth quarter of L.A.’s five losses, they have given up an average of nearly 19 plays, 112 yards offense, nine points, and eight minutes of possession.

In the fourth quarter of L.A.’s five losses, the OFFENSE have given up an average of nearly 17.4 plays, 57.8 yards offense, zero points, and six minutes of possession.

They have had six three-and-outs so it is hard to have good time of possession when you fail 100% of the time on your drives.

In the fourth quarter of L.A.’s five losses Rams offense has begun 17 drives, the results of those drives is 7 punts, 4 INTS, 2 fumbles lost and 1 turnover on downs. 14 failures in 17 and the other three which I didn't count were drives that ended and end of game. That is a zero percent success rate.

They have only crossed midfield on 6 of those 17 drives and two of those just barely

Later in the article, he did throw in the caveat - "Yes, the offense could help them out." That is kind of an understatement. He didn't emphasize how bad the offense has been in the 4th quarter...no points?

Seriously? None?

In Morris’ season and a half in L.A., his defensive units have been ranked somewhere in the middle of the NFL pack. They have been numerically better against the run than the pass, probably because the soft zone coverage is allowing opposing teams 67% of passes.
.

I get that with the frustrating cushions people may think the defense is in the middle of the pack in "In Morris’ season and a half in L.A."
actual numbers are pretty good.
from Twitter---
2021-22 (Morris era) including playoffs-
Points allowed by defense = 4th (middle?)
Fewest yards allowed = 9th (Top 10)
Takeaways =11t (not great but top 1/3 of NFL)
Fewest yards rushing allowed = 4th (top 5)
Lowest Y/C = 2nd (2nd best)
Sks/gm = 7th (Top 10)
Int/Gm =17th (this is middle of the pack)
Defensive passer rating=5th (Top 5)
Yds allowed/play=8th (Top 10)

He mention completion percentage and yes Rams are allowing 67% completion rating and that is not good--but
it is not the worst - 25th . . . but their yards a reception and yards pet attempt
are both in the top 10

The Rams defense is not as good as the Bills or 49ers Broncos but they are not bad or even mediocre overall.

And while that does not excuse the breakdown on final drive of Tampa game it is only reasonable to look
at the results. I

The results are an overall top 10 defense- and a Super Bowl ring.
