Later in the article, he did throw in the caveat - "
Yes, the offense could help them out." That is kind of an understatement. He didn't emphasize how bad the offense has been in the 4th quarter...no points?

I get that with the frustrating cushions people may think the defense is in the middle of the pack in "In Morris’ season and a half in L.A."

He mention completion percentage and yes Rams are allowing 67% completion rating and that is not good--but
it is not the worst - 25th . . . but their yards a reception and yards pet attempt
are both in the top 10
The Rams defense is not as good as the Bills or 49ers Broncos but they are not bad or even mediocre overall.
And while that does not excuse the breakdown on final drive of Tampa game it is only reasonable to look
at the results. I
The results are an overall top 10 defense- and a Super Bowl ring.
