It's a good (and flawed) defense. Not a great one and one that had a major meltdown on the final drive vs. Tampa.

Clearly some good and some not-so-good in there. They are not getting enough pressure up front. Obviously. And being behind in games they are not able to just get after the passer as much as they did in 2021.
Personally I also like Kendrick and see nothing to complain about the kid so far. He was a 6th round pick. He's 2nd on the team in PD (4). Sure teams are going to pick on him and maybe he should not be playing 60 snaps/game at this point but he's getting valuable experience and I think is going to grow into a very good CB.
